blog infographics

Visually simplifying technical concepts is something I’ve done a lot of at the big tech companies, whether it be infographics or data viz. Here’s a batch of graphics I created as part of an F5 NGINX tutorial blog to align with their branding.

Using illustrations and swatches from the brand library, I chose a color palette to create a consistent theme and still keep things interesting. The fun challenge of these projects was breathing life and personality into all the stuff that makes most people’s eyes glaze over (including mine). I got to learn how some of the technical stuff works, and jazz it up real nice and make it make sense. Staying on-brand, of course.

Here’s a look at where these graphics live, and some of the other collateral I designed for the 4-part blog series thumbnail graphics:

Closer look at the social graphic for the PDF guide and a couple pages. Notice the four icons on the right page tie back to the blog thumbnail graphics as part of the system I created for the series.
